Vice President responsible for regulatory risk and compliance coverage for Morgan Stanley’s India Global Centre in Mumbai and Bengaluru. The role oversees licensing, regulator engagement, STPI and Customs requirements, offshoring and outsourcing compliance, governance reporting, compliance monitoring, risk reviews, training, policies, and non-financial risk metrics. It advises senior stakeholders, coordinates with global teams and external advisers, and escalates material regulatory and compliance risks.

Provides operational and financial support for CX-led events by tracking budgets, expenses, accruals, and Salesforce records. Reconciles data, prepares recurring and ad hoc reports, investigates discrepancies, maintains documentation, and supports leadership with spend and performance insights. The role also identifies opportunities for approved AI-assisted automation, develops reusable templates, and ensures workflows follow governance, data security, and model risk requirements.

Supervise transaction monitoring and AML professionals, review potentially suspicious activity and surveillance alerts, investigate client account activity, document dispositions, escalate true hits, conduct quality reviews, lead team meetings, manage stakeholders, improve productivity, and recommend enhancements to AML and screening policies and procedures.
