Teams at Maropost

Build and maintain backend applications in Scala, including refactoring, architecture and API design, SQL schema modeling, message-based systems, testing, code reviews, and CI/CD. Collaborate cross-functionally on technical specifications, infrastructure, process improvements, and continuous learning. The role uses Apache Pulsar, Kubernetes, CircleCI, and ArgoCD, with emphasis on reliable, readable code and backend application development rather than data engineering.

Lead strategy, roadmap, and execution for Maropost's Da Vinci AI platform. Prioritize AI opportunities across product clouds, drive assistive/agentic automation and personalization, establish responsible AI governance, partner with cross-functional teams from discovery to launch, measure business impact, and present outcomes to executive leadership.

Serve as a force multiplier for the C-suite by driving strategic initiatives, managing leadership cadence, project delivery, Jira-based operational metrics, executive communications, stakeholder engagement, and cross-functional change management to increase organizational efficiency and C-suite bandwidth.
