Own end-to-end machine learning for ecommerce discovery, including recommendation and ranking models, low-latency Python serving, batch pipelines, A/B testing, and production deployments. Operate containerized services on Kubernetes, monitor systems, and extend LLM-powered shopping and catalog applications. The role requires strong recommender systems, search ranking, embeddings, vector databases, streaming, and production ML experience.

Leads the vision, strategy, roadmap, and growth of Maropost’s Commerce Cloud platform. Oversees storefront, checkout, catalog, order management, AI, and personalization initiatives while managing Product Managers and Product Owners. Partners with Engineering and cross-functional executives to deliver measurable customer and business outcomes, including adoption, retention, activation, and GMV growth. Requires extensive product leadership experience in commerce, ecommerce infrastructure, retail technology, or B2B SaaS, plus experience building AI-powered product capabilities and scaling product teams.

Build scalable, high-performance backend systems using primarily Golang and Python. Own features end to end, contribute to distributed microservices architecture and system design, develop event-driven components for high-volume messaging and e-commerce workloads, conduct code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, support CI/CD deployments, and document technical specifications and APIs.
