Analyzes funnels, cohorts, feature usage, customer journeys, retention, and churn to identify adoption barriers and prioritize opportunities. Influences product roadmaps, develops adoption metrics and business cases, and drives cross-functional initiatives spanning Product, Data, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, and Revenue. Builds feedback loops and operating models to improve activation, engagement, time-to-value, retention, expansion, and customer value.

Principal-level backend engineering role leading architecture and reliability for a global payments and commerce platform. Responsibilities include designing multi-tenant distributed services, payment orchestration, ledgers, reconciliation, APIs, schemas, observability, security, compliance, disaster recovery, and production operations. The role establishes engineering standards, mentors teams, supports hiring, drives technical strategy, and partners cross-functionally. Core technologies include Go, ConnectRPC, GCP, Kubernetes/GKE, Pub/Sub, Redis, MongoDB, Firestore, ClickHouse, and OpenTelemetry.

Owns employee lifecycle processes across India, the US, and EOR populations, including offboarding, transitions, leave, benefits, payroll inputs, documentation, and employee requests. Maintains HRIS data, audits, reports, controls, and compliance records. Resolves complex operational matters, partners cross-functionally, supports HR systems and automation initiatives, and drives process improvements using AI and technology.
