Provides legal and regulatory advice to institutional banking businesses, including structured finance, lending, securitisation, mortgages, and cross-border transactions. Drafts and negotiates banking agreements, manages legal risks, develops documentation and policies, responds to regulatory notices and customer complaints, and advises internal stakeholders. The role also coordinates with external counsel, supports the GIFT City IBU, delivers legal training, and monitors developments under Indian banking and financial services laws.

Monitor and analyze fraud transaction-surveillance alerts, determine appropriate dispositions, and support regulatory reporting such as FMR and CPFIR. Collaborate with operations, business, compliance, legal, audit, and other stakeholders on fraud-related matters. Maintain watch and caution lists, prepare MIS and trend analyses, advise business units on fraud and scam risks, support thematic studies, and contribute to fraud-monitoring automation and process improvements.

Supports global financial markets treasury operations for institutional and corporate banking clients. Responsibilities include booking, confirming, cancelling, rolling over, and reconciling FX transactions in Murex; preparing daily client, position, P&L, and performance reports; completing end-of-day checks; coordinating FCNR trades; responding to stakeholders; and assisting with treasury system development and testing.
