The Associate Sybase DBA will design and implement Sybase environments, manage cloud and on-premises Sybase workloads, optimize SQL Server environments, and ensure performance, security, and integrity of databases.

Provide 24x7 Sybase DBA support across on-prem and cloud, design and migrate Sybase environments to AWS, install/configure ASE/IQ/Replication Server, perform performance tuning, implement HA/DR, manage security/compliance, automate maintenance with Shell/Python, and resolve incidents within SLAs.

The role involves managing and maintaining DB2 databases on z/OS, troubleshooting service outages, optimizing performance, and automating tasks. Responsibilities include backup testing, tuning queries, and supporting operations teams. Experience in REXX and various DB2 tools is required, with a preference for database upgrade and patching knowledge.
