In order to support the Spares Services, Airbus Operations is looking for a

Working Student for Customer Services | Airbus Cabin Electronics (d/f/m)

You are a full time student, looking for a working student position and want to get to know the work of Airbus?  Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us in Spares Services as a working student (d/f/m) with approx. 18 hours a week! 

  • Location: Buxtehude
  • Start: As soon as possible
  • Duration:  12  months

You will receive a collectively agreed salary of at least €18.17 per hour, depending on the job. There are also special payments such as vacation pay.

Definition working student

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop solutions for master data mass correction

  • Support, analyse and improve inventory activities 

  • Contribute in operational activities for repair service

  • Increase the level of automation and enhance the user interface of repair teams to manage the order book and daily business (SAP / App Sheet)

  • Manage Test Equipment Inventory transfer to Inventory Tool incl.  segregation in serviceable / un-servicable with defect description

  • Digital recording of storage areas, such as the paternoster in the repair shop (Implementation of solution with AppSheet or similar) 

  • Support roll out of key IT tools to manage the customer interface of repair business

  • Process Improvement Projects


Desired skills and qualifications

  • Enrolled full time student (d/f/m) within information technology, information systems, mathematics, industrial production, business administration or similar field of study

  • Good communication skills

  • Teamworker

  • Analytical thinking and able to deal with complexity

  • Problem solving mentality

  • Coding skills at least in one of the following languages: JavaScript, Google Script, Python, SQL, Pyspark, Java, VSB

  • Interest in aviation, customer services, electronics and/or industrial operations

  • Language Skills: English (fluent) and German (preferred)
