Design and implement Workday Extend applications, collaborate with various stakeholders for requirements, and ensure system integration and support.
Job Title: Workday Extend Resource (Permanent)
Location: Remote (India) / Hybrid – Pune
Compensation: (Full-time, Permanent Role)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and implement Workday Extend applications to support business operations.
- Partner with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Develop, test, and deploy Workday Extend apps with strong focus on performance and usability.
- Integrate Extend applications with Workday HCM and third-party systems.
- Provide continuous production support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize apps post-implementation.
- Adhere to Workday security, compliance, and governance standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4–8 years of Workday experience, including 2+ years hands-on Workday Extend.
- Expertise in Workday HCM, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio integrations.
- Strong programming knowledge (REST APIs, JSON, XML, object-oriented design).
- Proven experience in full-cycle Extend app development (concept → deployment).
- Workday certification(s) preferred (Workday Extend Pro a strong plus).
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with Workday Reporting, BIRT, and Security.
- Prior experience with global, large-scale Workday implementations.
