The department delivers a server platform solution for the ASTRO 25, the most widely used P25 mission-critical voice and data communication network in the world.
Job Description
We are looking for engineers who will join our Windows Platform Team.
The team provides Windows Operating Systems in various versions (Windows Servers as well as Client OS) and Active Directory service for ASTRO System.
As a team member, you will participate in the whole software development cycle to develop and maintain Windows Platforms Solutions i.e. automated installation and configuration of the system and applications, system updates, security scans and finding resolution, etc.
The new functionality is mostly developed with PowerShell but there are also existing batch or other scripts. The project uses Agile methodologies.
Basic Requirements
Perfect candidate should have the hands-on experience on:

Administration and implementation of Microsoft Windows-family OSes especially Windows Server 2016-2022
-
Administration and hands-on experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Entra ID
-
Basic knowledge about Microsoft Internet Information Services, SSL/TLS encryption and certificates, Network Policy Server
-
Non-interactive, automatic deployment of Windows Operating Systems on Bare Metals and Virtual Machines
-
DISA STIG familiarity
-
Strong will to learn on how to automate all above with Powershell
-
Degree in computer science, telecommunications, automatics, robotics field or similar
-
Practical knowledge of Windows Server/Client operating systems from user and administrator perspectives
-
English language skills at a level allowing efficient communication
Familiarity with some of the following will be a plus:
-
Networking protocols and network services skills including TCP/IP, SNMP and firewall
-
Experience in creating, reviewing and updating technical documentation
-
Basic knowledge of Linux
-
Good programming with PowerShell skills
-
Ability to learn new skills quickly and to switch tasks and/or used technologies
-
Ability to investigate and solve challenging technical issues
-
Very good troubleshooting skills, an analytic approach to given tasks and problems
