8x8 is seeking a Web and Digital Media Specialist to join our dynamic CPaaS team in Cebu, Philippines. This role is essential in driving the performance, usability, and optimization of our online presence to support our 8x8 CPaaS marketing initiatives.
As a Web and Digital Media Specialist, you will oversee the day-to-day management of the CPaaS website, ensuring it aligns with business goals, engages our audience, and delivers a seamless user experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Website Management: Manage the development, maintenance, and optimization of the CPaaS website, ensuring it is user-friendly, visually appealing, and up-to-date.

Content Coordination: Collaborate with content teams to update and create engaging, high-quality, and SEO-optimized content.

Performance Optimization: Monitor website performance, including speed, uptime, and responsiveness, and implement improvements to enhance the user experience.

SEO and Analytics: Ensure the website is search-engine optimized and analyze website traffic, user behavior, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement.

Project Management: Manage website-related projects, including redesigns, migrations, and feature enhancements, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors as needed.

Integration & Tagging: Manage integrations using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other tracking tools for effective website performance and campaign monitoring.

Technical Management: Implement and manage headless CMS solutions and frameworks like Next.js for high-performance, scalable, and flexible web experiences.

WordPress Expertise: Oversee WordPress-based website sections, including plugin management, updates, and troubleshooting issues related to themes or functionalities.

Security and Compliance: Ensure website security protocols are followed and compliance with global regulations and standards.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to align website strategy with company goals and campaigns.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Website Manager or similar role, ideally in the B2B or SaaS industry.

Proficiency in WordPress and headless CMS solutions.

Strong knowledge of frameworks like Next.js for building high-performance websites.

Proficiency in website analytics and tracking tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.

Solid understanding of SEO best practices and tools.

Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web design principles.

Experience with website optimization for organic and paid traffic.

Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:

Ideally familiarity with CPaaS (Communication Platform as a Service) products or related industries.

Experience with website migration projects or working on multilingual websites.

Advanced understanding of CMS and marketing automation platforms like HubSpot.
