Synopsis of the role

Responsible for Product vision, strategy and execution - the overall performance of the product portfolio, overseeing it from inception and ideation through design, build, launch, growth, enhancement and eventual sunset. Creates product roadmap and identifies delivery channels, direction of product and product development journeys based on market needs, regulatory requirements and technological advancements.. Defines product requirements and collaborates with cross functional team

What you’ll do

• Deliver product line performance (revenue, margin, growth) for specific product families.

• Provide thought leadership to drive the creation of product strategy and portfolio management, maximizing opportunities through comprehensive solutions and marketing plans relevant to the assigned market/vertical.

• Identify and develop new solutions leveraging market expertise, direct customer feedback and input from customer facing teams.

• Partner with Vertical Leaders to drive and deliver product line performance (revenue, margin, growth)for multiple large/complex product sets with high revenue potential, enabling achievement of revenue and growth targets.

• Lead product strategy, road-mapping and design to align to market demand and strategic goals.

• Engage with global product teams to leverage best practices and global trends.

• Manage new product, innovation and go-to-market execution including launch and life cycle management from idea to strategies to product plans, driving the definition and execution.

• Makes decisions guided by policies, procedures and business plan; Develops plans and coordinates resources to meet operational objectives within the area of responsibility.

• Maximize growth opportunities through comprehensive product portfolio and marketing plan relevant to market and segment needs.

• Imbibe a compliance culture and work closely with stakeholders to ensure Product design adherence to Regulatory guidelines, management of Product audit and closure of past audit actionable.

• Engage and define strategies needed to support differentiation and utilization of assets.

• Ensure detailed product requirements are documented and demonstrates a solid understanding of product design, commercial model and packaging discussions

• Identify, recruit, develop, retain and lead a team of Product managers and individuals accountable for developing market leading solutions and managing product operations

What experience you need

• Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred) and at least 16+ years of Product Management related experience; Graduate degree preferred; Product Management certifications is a plus, 

• Last 5 years of building and leading high-performing Product teams, overseeing the full talent lifecycle from onboarding to fostering a positive work environment that promotes retention and growth;  Demonstrates passion about empowering team members through continuous coaching, mentoring, and tailored development programs, and consistently demonstrates the ability to proactively manage capacity and resources to ensure optimal productivity and successful project delivery

• Expert in cloud-based products and services, demonstrating an understanding of cloud architecture, infrastructure, and deployment models

• Experienced in Product tools required (Aha, JIRA, Figma)

• Expert in Design Thinking for innovation is a plus (Use creative design thinking to develop innovative business solutions. Apply creative and analytical tools to develop real solutions for real needs, including personas, empathy mapping, prototyping and iteration models.)

• Demonstrates deep understanding of customer needs through market and industry research and analysis of competitors and uses strong knowledge of competitive landscape to anticipate, articulate and drive high-potential opportunities that enable a competitive advantage

• Is capable of communicating vision and ensuring team’s work is in alignment with strategy and goals

• Experience in establishing marketing strategies (include product road map) including product direction, marketing communication, packaging, pricing, and future product development to manage a product over the product's life cycle.

• Familiarity with Agile work management and/or the ability to effectively communicate complex processes within and across teams.

• Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously.

• Identifies and resolves technical, operational and/or organization problems.

• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in an organization.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Organizational, planning, and documentation skills.
