What The Role Involves:
As a Video Strategist at Sprinto, you will own the vision behind how we communicate through video. You’re not just a creative mind; you’re a strategic thinker who knows exactly when to push boundaries and when to rein it in. Your role will shape our video storytelling, from concept to execution, ensuring it resonates with our B2B SaaS audience.
What Your Impact Will Look Like:
- Video Strategy Ownership - Own end-to-end video strategy: scripting, conceptualizing, and guiding production. Whether you’re steering external production houses or leading a lean internal shoot, you’ll ensure the vision is crystal clear.
- Script Writing- Write sharp, effective scripts that align with the buyer journey: understanding when to be creative and when to be pragmatic for B2B impact.
- Trend Awareness - Stay on top of video trends: formats, styles, and treatments, and integrate them into Sprinto’s storytelling arsenal. You’ll also know your way around video tech tools so you can lead editors and animators.
- B2B Audience Alignment- Understand the B2B SaaS audience, ensuring videos are relevant to their buying journey: creatively pushing boundaries when it fits and keeping it grounded when it doesn’t.
- Project Management- Manage multiple projects with solid project management skills. While team management is a plus, ownership of timelines and execution is key.
What You’ll Bring To The Team:
- Experience & Context: 4–6+ years of experience in video strategy, creative direction, or a closely related role, ideally within B2B, SaaS, or tech environments.
- Scriptwriting Strength: Strong scriptwriting chops with the ability to align storytelling to business objectives and buyer intent.
- Production Fluency: Proven ability to oversee high-level production with external vendors, along with hands-on understanding of small-scale, in-house shoots.
- Creative & Technical Awareness: Deep awareness of creative video trends and working familiarity with video tools to confidently guide editors, animators, and production partners.
- Audience-First Thinking: Clear understanding of B2B audience dynamics and buying journeys, with the judgment to balance creativity and clarity.
