What This Position Is All About:
As the Video & Image Editor of Social Media at Saks OFF 5TH, you will play a critical role in the creation of high-quality, on-brand visual content that captivates and inspires our audience. You will support the editing and post-production process for social media photography and video content, ensuring assets align with Saks OFF 5TH's social media creative vision and storytelling goals.
As the Editor you will:
● Oversee Post-Production: Manage the editing and post-production workflows for social first photography and video content, ensuring all assets meet creative and technical standards.
● Uphold Brand Identity: Ensure all content reflects Saks OFF 5TH’s aesthetic and maintains brand consistency across social platforms.
● Be Social First: Possess the ability to be creative and well-ingrained in short-form video content as well as still imagery and can come up with ideas and edits for platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
● Create ghost images from PDP assets for social first creative executions that may also be leveraged across other digital channels.
● Have an understanding of delivery and upload specifications for all social media channels.
● Have proficiency in image retouching, cropping, and editing
Who You Are:
● Detail-Oriented: You pride yourself on delivering flawless work with a focus on and quality.
● Proficient in video and image editing for social first assets
● Ability to create ghost images from PDP assets for social first creative executions that may also be leveraged across email and site.
● Innovative Problem-Solver: You approach challenges with creativity and resourcefulness, even under tight deadlines.
● Professional Experience: 4 years of experience in photo and video editing, with a focus on fashion, retail, or lifestyle social first content.
● Technical Skills: Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom) and other industry-standard post-production tools. ● Adaptability: A flexible mindset to respond effectively to evolving business needs while maintaining creative integrity.
