18+ years’ experience in delivery of programme/ project management initiatives, deliver successful transformation projects.
Th role will lead/ build PM/PMO capability supporting tech/ Business transformation projects, bring in Thought leadership and drive AI within project management space.
Act as business partner to help sponsors and stakeholders to identify and prioritise opportunities for improvement taking a cross functional view across businesses.
Lead big programme with multiple projects, and manage end to end programme delivery
Run end-to-end process reengineering delivery, technology transformation like application rationalisation, system development, cloud migration, security upgradation, Infrastructure upgradation, projects in technology space.
Understand Transition management framework and should be able to design plan and execute large scale transitions.
Ability to play a lead consultant with knowledge in various digital levers including but not limited to Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Business Intelligence (BI), Data platforms, Data Analytics and Digital Engineering.

- Driving ROI, margins, building future skills across the offerings.
- Work to progress in M&G’s transformation agenda and embed innovation across the business, working with the business to deliver process excellence through design, develop and run digital tools to maximise business benefits.
People Management & Oversight:
- Managing a span of 12-15 FTEs of an independent Consulting/Project management vertical
- Own the competency matrix of the Process Excellence team, and be responsible for raising the teams capability across the different projects
- Work on cross collaborative projects between other functions within process excellence
- Support cross-functional initiatives across M&G Global Services

- Acts as a subject matter expert and is instrumental in promoting culture change within their service line by sharing Lean and Design Thinking best practices
- Focus on driving improvements in revenue and driving cost out of the business through more effective processes, elimination of non-value added or duplicate efforts, waste and other related defects in the business process
- Act as a change agent and leverage best practices to share within the team and across the service line
- Ensure effective risk management in the project lifecycle
- Ability to manage project financials effectively
- Provide statistical and analytical expertise and training as required
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend alternative solutions and translate complex concepts into simplified and understandable examples
- Work closely with the Delivery Leads to foster strong business relationships and build the digital solutions across M&G.
- Mobilise and lead End-2-End process reengineering reviews including ensuring the correct approach is taken, a project plan is in place and remains on track
- Develop robust and sustainable solutions that will deliver the agreed benefits
- Provide technical and process excellence support throughout the delivery lifecycle, acting as a key point of escalation, review and validation
- Drive adoption and consistent application of CoE methodologies, design standards and tools by providing technical input to approaches and their application in process optimisation and automation delivery
- Conduct quality control of delivery solutions and performs reviews as appropriate (e.g.as is / to be process mapping), including post-implementation reviews to assess the ongoing effectiveness / viability of live solutions
- Track ROI, Produce status reports and flags issues / concerns to Delivery Leads, for escalation to the CoE / Head of Business Excellence, as required
- Support the Strategy & Toolkit Lead and Governance & Design Authority by providing specialist technical insight (e.g. PEX, RPA, Digital, Forms) in the definition of CoE methodologies, design standards and tools
Risk Management:
- Ensure understanding and adherence to M&G’s Code of Conduct and, where appropriate, comply with all relevant regulatory policies. This includes completion of any mandatory training requirements
- Oversee the RCSA framework for Process excellence
Audit support
- Complying to the Audit requirements by maintaining all the required documents and evidences for the projects and providing all the necessary Audit details to Auditors

Experience:
• Proven working experience of minimum 18 years as a programme manager with experience

• Experience of managing projects involving Investments domain/Migration/Rationalisation of applications/Technology and Cloud transformation
Educational Qualification:
- A technical or management graduate degree is required. An advanced technical or management degree (MBA) is preferred
- PMP/PRINCE 2 certified
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt/Master Black Belt good to have
- Design Thinking practitioner and good to have
- Agile practitioner and certified
