Responsibilities
Your Role:
- Responsible for leading the Pune SSC for the Real Estate line of business
- Work with the Real Estate Management team to establish the long term strategy and objectives of the SSC in order to support the Real Estate line of business’ global objectives.
- Ensure services are delivered in accordance with KPIs and service level agreements.
- Assist with the development of on-boarding and transition plans for new client integration.
- Coordinate and oversee staffing, hiring, training and development of staff
- Participate in Risk and Quality assurance programs
- Contribute to SOC 1 audits for Asia (when required)
Qualifications
About You:
- BBS in Accounting/Finance or related discipline with 10+ years of fund accounting experience with at least 7 in operations and real estate investment accounting. (CPA, MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- Strong knowledge of real estate fund structures, fund types, and asset operations, familiarity with investment accounting rules and standards, and a keen understanding of applicable tax reporting and regulatory requirements within Asia Pacific
- Familiarity with Investran, Yardi, MRI or other RE software packages, preferred.
- Have an understanding of business planning, budgeting, and managing PandL.
- Experience in developing, implementing, optimizing business processes in the real estate investments funds space.
- Strong management skills and experience overseeing a group of investment accountants.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.).
