The Vendor Manager is responsible for vendor development, performance management, project coordination, compliance, and relationship management with suppliers. They conduct audits, negotiate contracts, and ensure quality and safety compliance while coordinating inspections and fostering strong vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Development & Evaluation:
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers, assessing their capability, capacity, and compliance with ethical standards to maintain an approved vendor list.
- Conduct supplier reviews and audits to ensure alignment with Zeeco’s quality and operational standards.
- Vendor Performance Management:
- Develop and maintain a dashboard or league table to track vendor performance metrics, including quality, delivery, and cost.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process and vendor performance improvements.
- Project Coordination & Procurement:
- Collaborate with project teams to select the most suitable vendors, considering project requirements such as quality, budget, and schedule.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms between project management and suppliers.
- Manage post-order vendor activities, including progress reporting, expediting contracts, and negotiating changes as required.
- Quality & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure safe working practices are adhered to throughout vendors' manufacturing processes.
- Coordinate inspection activities with the Quality team to maintain compliance with quality standards.
- Supplier Relationship Management:
- Foster strong relationships with vendors to ensure alignment with Zeeco’s objectives and expectations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendors regarding project updates, compliance, and issue resolution.
- Travel & On-Site Inspections:
- Travel to supplier locations within the EMEA region (approximately 2–3 weeks per month) for audits, inspections, and relationship management.
