ResponsibilitiesAdminister and manage IBM QRadar SIEM including deployment, configuration, and fine-tuning
Monitor security events, logs, and alerts to detect suspicious activities
Analyze offenses and perform incident triage and escalation
Create and optimize custom rules, correlation rules, dashboards, and reports
Integrate various log sources (firewalls, IDS/IPS, servers, cloud platforms, endpoints) into QRadar
Perform log parsing and troubleshooting for ingestion issues
Conduct threat hunting and root cause analysis for identified incidents
Support incident response teams with actionable insights and forensic data
Maintain SIEM health checks, performance tuning, and upgrades/patching
Ensure compliance with security standards and policies (ISO 27001, SOC2, etc.)
Work with cross-functional teams to improve security posture
Strong hands-on experience with IBM QRadar SIEM
Knowledge of log management, event correlation, and SIEM architecture
Experience with offense analysis and incident response workflows
Familiarity with network security concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS)
Knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows systems
Experience in log source onboarding and DSM customization
Understanding of MITRE ATT&CK framework
Basic scripting knowledge (Python / Bash / PowerShell) is a plus
Familiarity with SOAR tools is an added advantage
