Key Accountabilities:

Job Overview: The Travel Expenses Specialist is responsible for managing and overseeing the processing of travel-related expenses across the organization. This role ensures compliance with both internal policies and provides guidance and support to employees on travel expense reporting.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Review and process travel expense reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding travel expense queries and issues.
  • Manage the company's travel expense system, including updates, improvements, and troubleshooting.
  • Train staff on the use of the travel expense system and on best practices for expense reporting.
  • Collaborate with the HR and travel departments to update travel policies and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on travel expenses for senior management.
  • Conduct audits on travel expenses to identify discrepancies or opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during financial audits.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements related to travel expenses.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.

HSE Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring safety of self and others at site. Prevent damage of equipment and assets Responsible for following all safety signs/procedures/ safe working practices Responsible for using appropriate PPE’s Responsible for participating in mock drills. Entitled to refuse any to undertake any activity considered unsafe. Responsible for filling up of hazard observation card, wherever hazard has been noticed at site. Responsible for safe housekeeping of his work place. To stop any operation that is deemed unsafe To be able to operate fire extinguisher in case of fire To report an incident as soon as possible to immediate supervisor and HSE manager To complete HSE trainings as instructed to do so
