The Training Manager is responsible for designing and developing training materials for the sales team, ensuring ongoing education, and collaborating with various teams to meet training needs.
About the Role:
As a Training Manager, you are responsible for providing expertise to assist the sales team and sales leaders in developing new courses and presentations for field trainings. Collaborate with sales, marketing, programs and digital teams to understand their training needs and build the appropriate training materials for their needs. Support onboarding and ongoing education for sales leaders through Learning Management Systems, workshops, and in-person trainings.
What you'll do:- Instruction Design: apply creative design practices to the field of instructional design to develop the best materials, cadence and format for onboarding and ongoing trainings. Develop instructor guides, field trainings and presentations. Select, modify and integrate existing and new training materials that utilize multimedia and new technologies to develop the most complete training programs.
- Build Training Materials: Responsible for developing trainings for Market Sales teams to present to the sales field. Work in collaboration to ensure the affiliates have onboarding and learning activities regularly. Capture feedback from the Sales teams and the affiliates with their needs and ensure we are providing valuable content to them on an ongoing basis.
- Work directly with sales and program teams under the supervision of the Commercial Head to understand individual team training needs.
- Ensure content is up to date, localized for markets and languages, digital first, interactive, shareable, and easy to use for both the sales team and affiliates.
- Manage and train part-time product presenters to support Market Sales teams in scaling field trainings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Business Management or related field
- 10+ years relevant work experience
- Strong personal skills, communication skills and writing skills
- Organized with the capability to multi-task
- Knowledge of digital tools and training on digital assets
- Solid understanding of Office Suite products
- Experience in a customer support setting with direct contact with customers.
- Ability to focus on small wins while keeping larger objectives in mind.
- Understanding of direct selling (preferred)
- Experience with developing digital training or face-to-face trainings (preferred)
