Job Summary:
The Entry-Level Application Engineer plays a key role in supporting the development and optimization of product proposals. This position involves close collaboration with the team to design, estimate costs, and prepare proposals that align with customer requirements. It is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in chemical or environmental engineering principles, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality product offerings.
Application Engineer will be responsible for preparing competitive and technically accurate proposals for biological wastewater treatment systems, including Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) technology. This role requires strong technical knowledge of biological processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed technical and commercial proposals for biological wastewater treatment systems (SBR and related technologies).
Analyze tender documents, customer specifications, and project requirements.
Prepare process designs, equipment sizing, and BOQ (Bill of Quantities).
Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, and sales) to ensure accurate costing and compliance.
Provide technical support during pre-bid meetings and client discussions.
Optimize solutions for cost-effectiveness and performance.
Stay updated on industry standards and emerging technologies in biological treatment.

Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental /Chemical /Mechanical
Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, Chemical Engineering, equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
2+ years of experience in proposal engineering for biological wastewater treatment systems.
Strong understanding of biological processes (SBR, MBR, ASP, etc.).
Proficiency in cost estimation and proposal preparation.
Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
