Job Summary
As a Confirmations Specialist within Derivative Operations, you ensure timely issuance and execution of OTC legal documents. You will draft confirmations, understand product fundamentals, and maintain robust control infrastructure. You drive process improvements and support regulatory compliance for the team.
Job Responsibilities
- Draft legal confirmations from risk management systems
- Affirm and validate OTC legal documents
- Ensure timely issuance and execution of confirmations
- Investigate and resolve documentation issues promptly
- Escalate unissued or unexecuted documents as needed
- Build strong relationships with Middle Office and Front Office
- Educate stakeholders on booking practices and impacts
- Identify and drive process efficiency improvements
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with internal counterparts for seamless operations
- Sustain high standards of control and accuracy
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Hold a graduate degree with minimum 4 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrate strong partnership and teamwork abilities
- Apply knowledge of ISDA and derivatives products
- Manage high complexity in product coverage
- Shift workload efficiently with changing priorities
- Adapt to fast-paced and stressful trading environments
- Commit to working all shifts as required
