Job Title: Technical Resource Assistant
 
Location: Mumbai
 
The Role:
An entry-level role at DNEG, the Technical Resource Assistant is part of the Technical team.
Guided by the Technical Resource Manager, they will be assisting in moving assets between
systems based on business priorities and helping optimize data management at DNEG.
 
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for:
● Transferring data to tape archives
● Organizing tape storage both on and off the building
● Moving data to optimize resources
● Assisting shows with server balancing and daily shot moves
● Monitoring the render farm
● Liaising with production to schedule restores of archived data
 
Skills and Abilities:
The following skills and abilities would be desirable:
● Knowledge of Linux is preferable
● Basic knowledge of file formats
● Organized and conscientious
● Ability to meet deadlines
● Ability to work with high volumes of data
● Self-motivated and pro-active
● Impeccable accuracy and attention to detail
