About the Company

Why We Built Lyric: Supply chains are more critical and complex than ever. Every day, large enterprises navigate trillions of possible decisions that could impact the bottom line. Powerful algorithms and AI can address these problems, yet most organizations struggle to leverage supply chain AI at scale. The current SCM technologies are either rigid, limited-scope point solutions or custom solutions built in-house, which demand immense expertise and investment.

That is…until now.

Enter Lyric: Lyric is an enterprise AI platform built specifically for supply chains, offering the best of both worlds:

  • Out-of-the-box AI solutions for optimizing networks, allocating inventory, scheduling routes, planning fulfillment capacity, promising orders, propagating demand, building predictions, analyzing scenarios, and more, plus

  • A platform-first approach that empowers both business and technical users with end-to-end product composability, leveraging no-code tools, their own code, or even forking our code to build and refine supply chain decision intelligence

With Lyric, enterprises no longer have to choose between flexibility and speed, they get both.

The Mission: We’re building a new era in supply chain with the team best equipped to lead it. With over 20 years at the intersection of supply chain and algorithms, we developed a deep conviction that global supply chains needed something like Lyric. Since our inception in December 2021, that conviction has been validated time and time again.

Today, a growing number of Fortune 500 companies, including Smurfit WestRock, Estée Lauder, Coca-Cola, Nike, and more, are innovating on their own terms with Lyric. We can’t wait to see what our customers, both current and future, are empowered to build with us next. Come build with us!

About the role

As a Technical Pre-Sales Specialist at Lyric, you’ll play a critical role in bridging the gap between customer discovery and solution storytelling. You'll collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Solution teams to translate real-world supply chain challenges into tailored, high-impact demo experiences that show exactly how Lyric’s enterprise AI platform can deliver value. This is a hands-on, creative, and fast-paced role—ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, design, and decision-making.

You will lead early-stage technical discovery, configure and build demos with customer or proxy data, and craft narratives and visualizations that make complex problems feel solvable. Your ability to rapidly understand business context, leverage our platform’s capabilities, and articulate value through story will be key to our success in every sales cycle.

What you’ll do

  • Lead technical discovery to understand customer pain points, data landscape, and planning or decisioning needs

  • Translate customer challenges into targeted demo solutions using Lyric’s platform capabilities

  • Build and maintain demo environments with representative or actual customer data

  • Create compelling data stories and visualizations to illustrate solution impact and differentiation

  • Collaborate with Account Executives, Solution Architects, and Product Managers to align demo strategy with deal context

  • Contribute to a library of reusable demo assets and patterns for key supply chain problems (e.g., allocation, routing, inventory planning)

  • Adapt and iterate demos rapidly based on evolving customer needs and stakeholder feedback

Who you are

  • 3–5+ years of experience in technical Pre-Sales, solution engineering, product analytics, or technical consulting roles—ideally in a fast-paced B2B SaaS or supply chain software company

  • Strong background in either supply chain software or AI/ML platforms with experience with optimization models and/or workflow based decision tools

  • Experience working with data—cleaning, transforming, analyzing—and visualizing it using tools like SQL, Python, Excel, or BI platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)

  • Skilled at creating and presenting polished, engaging solution demos to both technical and business audiences

  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and operating independently to build prototypes and iterate quickly

  • Has a Degree from top Engineering School (IITs, NITs etc) or Business School (IIMs etc)
