Mactores is the agent-native AWS modernization firm. Most modernization work doesn't ship, it stalls in pilots, slips a year, or lands at three times the budget. We exist to ship it: production systems running, legacy retired, outcomes measured. Our delivery is built on Aedeon, the agent platform built by Mactores' founders' sister company, which absorbs the repetitive 60–70% of engagement work, discovery, dependency mapping, validation, test generation, that traditional consulting bills human hours against. Forward-deployed engineers own the rest: architecture, judgment, and cutover, on dates we commit to in the contract.
Mactores has 21 public case studies and 200+ published blogs. Most consultancy content sounds the same — capability lists, stacked adjectives, claims without baselines. Ours can't. Our positioning voice is flat, declarative, and engineering-led: pain named before capability, numbers with baselines, one contrarian claim per piece that a sharp reader would bookmark. Writing in that voice, at L300/L400 technical depth, for US B2B buyers — that's this job.
As our Technical Content Writer, you'll turn complex cloud and data engineering work Apache Iceberg lakehouses, Oracle-to-Aurora migrations, Spark optimization, cloud-native DataOps into deeply technical, visually sharp content that ranks, resonates, and drives enterprise pipeline in the US market. This is not a generalist writing role. You'll go deep technically, and you'll bring marketing judgment to everything you produce: a piece has to land with a data engineer, an IT director, and a CFO evaluating cloud ROI without being rewritten for each. You'll own content from research through publication long-form blogs, whitepapers, case studies, social copy, and the diagrams that make the argument legible.
What you will do?
- Research, write, and publish L300/L400-level technical blogs, deep-dive articles, whitepapers, case studies, and solution briefs across AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure.
- Turn complex architectural work Iceberg lakehouses, Oracle-to-Aurora migrations, Spark optimization, cloud-native DataOps into structured, accurate, engaging long-form content.
- Produce both long-form and short-form independently blog posts, tutorials, solution walkthroughs, comparison guides, newsletters, LinkedIn posts, marketing copy without editorial hand-holding.
- Work closely with solution architects, data engineers, and SMEs to validate technical accuracy and pull out implementation-level insight the reader can't get elsewhere.
- Design and produce the visual assets that carry the writing: custom diagrams, architecture illustrations, infographics, social graphics, data visualizations.
- Use Canva, Figma, Adobe Express, or equivalent to independently create polished, on-brand visuals that make complex topics immediately digestible.
- Build graphic-rich formats — one-pagers, solution briefs, visual explainers — optimized for US B2B audiences across digital and print channels.
- Apply visual storytelling so technical content travels on LinkedIn and partner platforms.
- Write with a clear understanding of US B2B buyer behavior, content expectations, and purchasing patterns — from practitioner to VP to C-suite.
- Adapt tone, format, and messaging by segment, so the same engagement story lands with a data engineer, an IT director, or a CFO.
- Contribute to co-branded content with AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks — blogs, webinars, roadshow materials aligned with US go-to-market priorities.
- Repurpose long-form content into social-ready formats for LinkedIn, newsletters, and partner channels, tuned for the US audience.
- Actively use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grammarly, and others) to accelerate research, drafting, editing, and ideation.
- Apply AI tools to improve structure, readability, and technical depth — a multiplier for quality and velocity, not a substitute for expertise.
- Stay current with AI content tooling and keep folding better tools and workflows into your process.
- Own the SEO strategy for all published content: keyword research, search intent mapping, on-page optimization, internal linking, meta descriptions, structured data.
- Use Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, or Surfer SEO to find content opportunities, track rankings, and optimize existing content.
- Write content that holds technical authority and still ranks for the high-intent, long-tail queries US engineers and architects actually search.
- Run regular content audits and refreshes so published pieces stay current with platform features and industry shifts.
- Optimize for featured snippets, People Also Ask, and rich results where applicable.
- Track performance — organic traffic, time on page, conversions, backlinks — and use the data to sharpen the content strategy.
