Job Description

Business Role

· A strategic technical thinker to work closely with business as consultant, understanding client requirements, plan and recommend Salesforce Marketing Cloud solution.

· Design architecture and be able to present it to technical and non-technical audiences

· Will be responsible for designing and developing solutions to meet client’s business objectives based on consumer insight and data in general.

· Create and implement strategies that improve business processes and define digital technology roadmap in collaboration with business stakeholders, business partner’s team to support business growth of clients.

· The candidate will be responsible for managing ongoing marketing cloud projects.

· Must demonstrate progressive leadership in the full life cycle of the software development environment.

· Must have good understanding of digital marketing business; best practices, standards, policies and rules to be followed

· To evaluate, empanel and manage marketing cloud vendors. Build strategic relation to benefit on quality and/or cost.


Technical Skillset

· Should have excellent knowledge of using Email studio, Advertising Studio, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, Journey Builder, Engagement Studio to build 1:1 personalized campaign journeys and Pardot.

· Configuring/setting up user journeys using Journey Builder using available studio modules in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

· Have experience in designing and developing software components and having a very strong Service Oriented Architecture and integration background.

· Strong deployment knowledge of VisualForce, Flex, Salesforce configurations, Apex classes, APEX Web services, API, AppExchange deployment, and Salesforce.com s-controls.

· Working knowledge of integration effort and tasks with Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, and other third-party app-exchange solutions.

· Strong SQL & SOQL skills required.
Experience with knowledge of relational databases, including work with MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, and/or other common RDBMS and integrating them with the Salesforce ecosystem (mainly Marketing Cloud & CRM).

· Build relational data models to meet client requirements.

· Good understanding of object-oriented concepts and design patterns, with some prior work with OO languages (Java, Ruby, C#, C++, etc.).

· Knowledge of AGILE development practices.

· Experience with conducting technical process reviews, UAT’s and working in partnership with the business consultants.

· Knowledge of Audience Studio, Pardot, Social Studio and Interaction Studio would be a big plus.

· Knowledge of other marketing cloud platform i.e. Dynamics 365, Adobe, Oracle, IBM Interactive, Nielsen etc., to be an added advantage.

· Good communication/interpersonal skills both written and verbal and the ability to quickly form meaningful working partnerships.

· Self-starter, good aptitude, problem solver and someone who is open to learning new technologies.

· Takes a lead role on development initiatives and provides mentorship and direction to less experienced developers.

· To collaborate and work in sync with various stake holders in the organisation and at clients end.

· Should be capable of building a fresh practise team.
