About the Role:
We are looking to add a key member to our tax team withing the finance department,. We are looking for a hard working, detail oriented , problem solver individual contributor who will help in the indirect tax compliance of the US entity, help us with preparation and filing to indirect tax returns.
What You'll Do:

Assist with preparing and filings US Sales & Use tax returns and VAT / GST returns

Support other finance team members on US Sales & Use tax returns and VAT / GST returns

Assit with US Business licenses filings
-
Assist with transaction tax including business & occupation tax, gross receipts tax , CAT
-
Assit in responding and complying to Sales tax / Use tax / VAT/GST & other notices.

Assist with Sales & Use tax audit / filing VDA and VAT/ GST notices
-
Assist with filing application for US state registrations
-
Assist with reviewing and posting tax accrual on a monthly basis and preparing account reconciliation
-
Support in coordinating with the tax accounting team to ensure efficient integration of the tax accounting and international tax compliance processes.

Assist with other projects as necessary
What You'll Need :
-
Masters in Tax or Accounting, B.Com, (CA, CPA preferred)

1-3 years of relevant experience
-
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.

Knowledge and understanding of OneSource, Avalara & Net Suite is Preferable
-
Self-initiate research and is resourceful in their approach to resolve any issues irrespective of subject matter knowledge

Proficient understanding of Microsoft Excel and ability to create models, as needed, that reflect this depth of understanding

Analytical skills with good attention to detail, motivation and confidence to independently address issues.

Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to co-ordinate & interact with internal and external stakeholders

Shift time : 5 PM to 2 AM IST
