The Tax Administrative Specialist position is in person in our Minneapolis, MN office.
Responsibilities:

  • Prepare client engagement letters
  • Organize and scan client organizers and tax documents
  • Process client tax returns using a variety of software, including SafeSendReturns, Sharefile, Tax Caddy, and CCH Axcess
  • Provide administrative support to ensure deadlines are met, while maintaining a positive, collaborative work environment
  • Assist other staff with overflow work


Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of administrative experience in a professional services setting required
  • Requires basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; knowledge of tax preparation software and Microsoft Teams is preferred
  • Requires clear, concise verbal and written communication skills, and accurate grammar usage
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work effectively while balancing many projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work flexibly under pressure and time deadlines, with great attention to detail
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of clients and employees, and maintaining a positive attitude towards work, the firm, and the team

Wipfli values fair, transparent, and competitive compensation, considering each candidate's unique skills and experiences. The estimated base pay range for this role is $19.00 - $29.00 / hour, with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases. The actual salary at the time of offer depends on business related factors like location, skills, experience, training/education, licensure, certifications, business needs, current associate pay, and relevant employment laws.
Individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual and Firm performance.
