This is a Fixed-Term Contract (FTC) Talent Acquisition Consultant role focused on hiring for critical, senior, and leadership positions across the organization.
Looking for a strategic and business-aligned Talent Acquisition professional who can serve as a trusted talent advisor while driving exceptional recruiting outcomes across leadership and critical hiring mandates. The ideal candidate will bring strong stakeholder management, market mapping, and candidate assessment capabilities, combined with the ability to effectively manage complex searches and deliver high-quality talent solutions. Success in this role requires partnering closely with business leaders and P&C teams to drive leadership hiring through talent advisory, market intelligence, talent insights, and proactive pipeline development that supports business growth and future capability needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with business leaders, hiring managers, and P&C teams to understand workforce needs and provide market-informed talent advisory support
- Drive end-to-end recruiting delivery across aligned functions while balancing quality, speed, and candidate experience
- Influence and guide hiring managers on talent strategy, market intelligence, organizational capability, and effective hiring decisions
- Coach interviewers and managers on structured interviewing and assessment practices focused on selecting high-quality talent
- Build and execute proactive sourcing strategies across channels, networks, referrals, and market mapping initiatives
- Leverage talent insights, hiring trends, and recruiting metrics to improve decision-making and hiring outcomes
- Act as a trusted point of contact for candidates and stakeholders through the recruiting lifecycle
- Continuously identify opportunities to simplify, modernize, and strengthen recruiting processes and ways of working
- Drive strong governance and operational rigor across applicant tracking systems, compliance, and recruiting workflows
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding and transition from offer to joiner experience
- Represent and promote Morningstar’s employer brand through networking, campus engagement, industry connects, and branding initiatives
- Support strategic hiring initiatives including diversity hiring, programmatic hiring, and future talent pipeline development
Role requirements:
- 5 – 8 years of experience in Talent Acquisition across senior level hiring
- Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior business leaders with confidence and credibility
- Demonstrated ability to operate as both a recruiting delivery lead and strategic talent partner
- Strong understanding of talent markets, sourcing strategy, hiring trends, and workforce planning concepts
- Excellent communication, consulting, negotiation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to manage complexity, prioritize effectively, and operate in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and strong operational discipline
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies
- Passion for talent acquisition, candidate experience, and building high-performing teams
