Systems Engineer
The Systems Engineer will be responsible for providing on-site support at our Boyers imaging center as well as supporting our imaging and file transfer central environment. Must hold Security + Certification - CompTIA Sec + Certification.
This role requires an experienced IT professional with a proven record of accomplishment to support this fast-paced and high volume environment. Reporting to the IT Manager for Global DS Service Operations, this individual will be the on-site lead for the Service Operations team. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and support including scanning, imaging and managing file transfer.
Responsibilities:
The range of activities and tasks to be undertaken by the System Engineer, Global DS Service Operations (NA) include:

Daily maintenance activities to ensure all IT operations run smoothly.

Daily support for the local imaging center and for the on prem central environment (FISMA/IMGS).

Responsible for proper daily escalation of issues and off-hour on-call support.

Work to improve existing standard processes and develop comprehensive controls to monitor productivity, quality, and SLA adherence based on industry proven best practices.

Responsible for successful on-boarding of new DS customers and change requests for existing DS customers

Ensure constant systems/solution availability to meet project SLA’s

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:
-
Extensive experience with remote control tools, Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows Server 2016, SQL Database and Active Directory.

Installation of hardware and software products remotely and at customer locations
-
Deploy/troubleshoot Kofax(imaging software) and Batch class deployment
-
Deep understanding of the various IT functions(Desktop, Server, Network)

Providing technical support for hardware and software products on-site.

Program/Project management experience
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide range of audiences including executives, business stakeholders and IT teams.

Demonstrated ability to perform independently as a member of a team and through cross functional initiatives.

Willingness to work with numerous deadlines on a wide variety of initiatives in an environment where priorities may change quickly
-
Network management and support- some knowledge of switches, routers and firewalls

PowerShell scripting experience desired
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university or over 5 years of IT industry work experience

Microsoft Certified Professional (or related certification)

A+ and Network+ Certifications
