About the Role:
As a System Tester in our Navi Mumbai R&D team, you’ll play a key role in validating the performance, safety, and reliability of our robotic lawnmowers. Your work will involve hands-on outdoor testing in real-world environments, ensuring our products meet the highest standards before reaching customers. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams in India and Sweden, contributing to the development of cutting-edge autonomous technology that enhances the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute manual and automated system-level testing of robotic mowers, primarily in outdoor environments.
Participate in daily agile stand-ups and sprint planning with global teams.
Represent the Mumbai test team in project syncs, providing updates and insights.
Identify, document, and troubleshoot issues, collaborating with software, hardware, and design teams.
Maintain detailed test reports and provide data-driven recommendations for improvements.
Support test infrastructure setup and contribute to continuous improvement of test strategies and tools.
Travel to test sites across India and occasionally to Sweden for on-site validation and collaboration.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in system or embedded testing, preferably in robotics or consumer electronics.
Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies (black-box, white-box, regression, etc.).
Experience with Power BI, Python, and automation scripting for test execution and data analysis.
Hands-on experience with test management tools like JIRA, Zephyr, or TestRail.
Familiarity with embedded systems, sensors, and motor control is a plus.
Excellent communication skills to work across global teams and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
