Job Description

Your will be responsible for:

  • Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the ETF/index business, aligned with the overall goals and objectives of the firm.
  • Product Innovation: Identify opportunities for new Index /ETF products and enhancements to existing offerings, working closely with the investment, research, and product development teams.
  • Distribution and Marketing: Lead efforts to expand distribution channels in collaboration with our existing distribution teams and increase market penetration for our ETFs through effective marketing initiatives, digital engagement and acquisition, partnerships, and client interaction. You will work closely with our centralized sales team and have responsibility for directing our dedicated ETF sales team to activate sales growth and maintain our position in the market.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional clients, financial advisors, and other key stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences, and to effectively position our ETF solutions.
  • Market making experience and understanding will be an added advantage.
  • Operations: Ensure we maintain a high-quality operating platform for implementing our ETF strategies. You will leverage the scale of our platform and drive efficiencies, while identifying and evolving best practices.
  • Work closely with the Product Strategy and Development to assist with research related to new and existing products to ensure Index/ETFs are structured to trade efficiently.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Partnering with the Risk & Compliance teams to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to Index/ETFs, staying abreast of industry developments and implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the Index/ETF team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture, and developing talent within the organization.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the investment performance and sales results of our Index/ETF products, tracking key metrics and performance drivers to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Industry Engagement: Represent the firm in industry forums, conferences, and other events to enhance our visibility and reputation within the Index/ETF marketplace.

The experience you bring (Educational Qualification / Experience):

  • 15+ years of experience in asset management preferred, with a concentrated focus on Index/ETFs.
  • Strong knowledge of Index/ETF mechanics, including the factors that drive pricing, creations/redemptions, liquidity and spreads, premiums and discounts
  • Multi-asset knowledge including, fixed income, equities, derivatives (futures, swaps, etc.) and FX
  • Understanding of Regulatory framework and willingness to stay current on upcoming changes/updates
  • Proven history of success in product development, distribution, and management of Index/ETFs or other investment products.
  • Deep understanding of the Index/ETF marketplace, including industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and initiatives.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Market making experience.

Certification/s:

  • NISM Series V - Mutual Funds Distributor Module certified
  • NISM Series 21 A - PMS Distributors Certification
