What is the global internal consulting team responsible for?
  • The candidate will be part of the global internal consulting team within global corporate strategy team of Franklin Templeton. The internal consulting group helps global leaders solve business problems and optimize and accelerate business outcomes across investment management, sales, marketing and products, Technology and Operations etc. The group focusses on following areas viz. business process optimization, operating model design, strategy formulation and implementation and new idea evaluation and incubation.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of the Strategy & Corporate Development Manager?
  • The candidate is expected to work under the guidance of a Senior member of the Internal Consulting group and may also be expected to work in independent capacity leading a part of or an entire project. The candidate will work closely with all internal stakeholders across wide range of seniority from frontline staff to senior management.  He/she is expected to quickly understand the business, collect information/data, perform business analysis, identify and implement recommendations. Ideal candidate will have strong business acumen and customer focus, drive for results, strategic agility, and ability to deal with ambiguity.

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?
  • MBA from a premier institute with 5 to 10 years of experience in Global internal consulting preferably in investment management / wealth management / investment banking industry.

  • Ideal candidate will be a certified Six Sigma Black Belt / Master Black Belt. 

  • Strong communication skills.
