Job Title: Staff Software Engineer

Also, you will be a strong advocate for best practices, capable of challenging and being challenged, to deliver the best technical solutions for our customers. Roles & Responsibilities:
Financial Services (FS) provides specialist services, to both customer-facing and customer-supporting teams, in the areas of finance, audit, treasury, tax, investor relations, property and security.
Group Treasury, as part of FS, is accountable for the management of the non-traded market risk for CBA, including interest rate, foreign exchange, funding and liquidity risks associated with the Group’s lending and deposit taking business and the investment of shareholders’ funds.
The Treasury Crew is accountable to effectively deliver any change initiatives affecting Group Treasury and Group Treasury Domain. This is achieved by embedding a strong governance and structured framework to deliver sustainable strategic outcomes for business and technology changes. The team is responsible for the successful delivery of Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book, Transfer Pricing, Liquidity, Securitization and Hedge Accounting outcomes.
Essential Skills:
8-12 years’ experience in design, architecture or development in Analytics and Data Warehousing.
Experience in ETL Abinitio tools like GDE, Express-IT, Control centre, Meta programming
Strong analytical skills and Strong interpersonal & communication skills
Good to have :
Experience in Big data platform for ETL development with AWS cloud platform.
Knowledge of AWS Cloud services specifically EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, Secret Manager, SQS, SNS, Cloud Watch.
Experience working with REST and SOAP APIs.
CI/CD concepts and ability to create pipelines in Jenkins.
DevSecOps experience
Oracle DB- Perform database tuning, optimization, capacity planning, and support for purge job automation.
Provide development and production support for performance issues, acting as the first point of contact.
Deliver analysis and development support for database requirements related to third‑party treasury utilities
Education Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
