Are you ready to lead complex, high-impact data initiatives and shape the architecture that powers Spreetail’s next generation of analytics and automation? As a Staff Engineer on our Data Engineering Platform team, you’ll combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership to design scalable systems, mentor engineers, and drive innovation across our data ecosystem.
How you will achieve success:
- Lead system and architecture design.
- Mentor senior engineers and shape engineering standards.
- Drive performance optimization and technical excellence.
- Partner with Product and Engineering Managers on roadmap delivery.
- Lead adoption of AI-assisted engineering and innovation.
What experiences will help you in this role:
- 10–14 years of engineering experience (Python, SQL, and APIs).
- Deep expertise in distributed systems and architecture.
- Strong cross-team influence and mentoring ability.
- Hands-on coding and architectural design experience.
- Nice-to-have: React, dbt, and/or C#.NET
This is a remote position and requires candidates to have an available work-from-home setup
Desktop/Laptop system requirements:
- 4th generation or higher, at least Intel i3 or equivalent processor;
- at least 4GB RAM;
- Windows 10 and above or MAC OSX operating system
- You are required to provide your own dual monitors
A strong and stable internet connection (A DSL, cable or fiber wired internet service with 10 Mbps plan or higher for primary connection)
PC Headset
A high-definition (HD) external or integrated webcam with at least 720p resolution.
