Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
- Complete required month-end close activities like accounting, reconciliations & reporting around Commissions & Revenue Close.
- Partner with team members across multiple offices and other Functions (Sales Comp, FP&A, HR, IT, and Sales Ops) while monitoring relevant US GAAP and SEC developments to ensure accurate Commissions & Revenue Accounting.
- Follow controls and evaluate actions required for compliance with ServiceNow Commissions & Revenue recognition process.
- Identify and implement process improvements, especially by leveraging new technologies such as AI.
- Support UATs on enterprise project implementations.
- Ensure SOX compliance & support Audits.
- Work with a multi-national team, collaborating to promote efficiency, effectiveness, and teamwork.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience with Revenue accounting background in a Big 4 public accounting firm or SAAS based multinational companies preferred.
- CA/CPA qualification is a must.
- Working knowledge of current literature related to ASC 606 preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work within a team to expedite completion of projects with other teams including FP&A, Sales, Marketing, and Information Systems.
- Experience with MS Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint & BI.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
