Job Description
As the Sr Product Owner for the QAD Integration Landscape, you will work on the development, expansion, and optimization of QAD's integration ecosystem. In this role, you will execute the product vision and roadmap for integrations across diverse platforms, services, and systems. Your work will contribute to the seamless interoperability of QAD solutions, enhancing product functionality and delivering measurable value to our customers. You will work in close partnership with engineering, design, business leaders, external partners and the management of the QAD Integration Landscape to drive innovative integration solutions that align with business objectives and customer needs.
The role is responsible for analyzing and defining business needs and assists in testing and implementation of various QAD Integration Solutions. Provides the functional and business expertise to assist in identifying, evaluating and developing new QAD solutions or enhancements to existing products. Works across the business and involves staff from various functions to resolve issues and acts as an expert in his or her areas of product responsibilities, and strives to complete innovative cost effective solutions to solve complex business process issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently analyze business needs, define, and create business software use cases and granular user stories in conjunction with business experts, Product Managers and customers.
- Research and update of the solution defined use cases / user scenarios in collaboration with other POs across the business flow (not limited to a single function).
- Create User Stories for sprint or more granular development and testing. Contribute to the Engineering team by collaborating on scrum development activities.
- Provide initial screen designs in collaboration with UX Agent and Liaison.
- Provide guidelines to QA's to direct their testing strategy
- This role functions across the QAD business and works deeply with existing customers to better understand their process needs.
- Business overview validation of completed solutions working with SEs and QAs. Executing solution components and completed sprints, release based on use cases and business expectations.
- Ability to demo solutions to product managers, customers and business experts
- Contribute to and lead team members through all implementation efforts, including design, build, test, documentation and go-live activities.
- Collaboration across the QAD Solution Suite.
- Provide and share expertise with other Product Owners, Product Managers and Scrum teams to develop effective QAD solutions.
- Recommend business process changes based on best business practices with our software
- Work closely with Professional Services, Cloud Operations and Customer Support to assist with customer implementations and support during the Early Adopter phase of the different integration Products.
- Perform initial triage of escalated customer functional issues and recommend disposition and/or resolution.
- Collaborate with our technology partners (Boomi, Data Interchange,...) in the validation, and testing for the new releases of their different solutions and how they correlate to QAD Products (Integration Platform, QCE, ..)
- Assist in development and delivery of product documentation and training materials as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
Qualifications

Education/Licenses: Bachelor’s Degree required

Experience: 5-8 years of related experience in any area of the software integration landscape. Knowledge in any area of the EDI space is an absolute requirement

Computer skills: Fundamental Software development skills ideally from a Scrum background or similar rapid development methodology, working knowledge of QAD supported technologies, platforms and languages.
Knowledge on any of the following areas would be desirable: Boomi (or any other middleware), Kafka, Cassandra, Web applications development.
Other skills:

Experience interpreting user needs and writing or editing use cases and user stories for new systems, systems changes or system enhancements.

Must be comfortable and capable of creating and presenting complex ideas and technical solutions and leading teams and workgroups.
