Job Description
This position is responsible for supporting APJ Laboratory Products. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our team. You will play a crucial role in partnering with Laboratory Products commercial lead to drive sales, commercial excellence and profitability. This is a highly visible role, where the position will work closely with Division Leadership team, Division Finance, APJ Commercial team, Country Commercial and Country FP&A.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering
- Drive discussions with APJ and country commercial teams to deliver growth and profitability
- Provide recommendations, guidance or proposals to assist commercial leaders in their decision making
- Work with cross-functional and country teams to drive operational excellence and delivery of commitment
Forecasting and Reporting
- Own and manage weekly pulse/monthly business review/annual forecasting and reporting process, such as Monthly Business Review, STRAP and AOP
- Lead all consolidation activities and deliverables to Division and APJ corporate
- Provide analysis to APJ Commercial team and Division on revenue, opex, P&L and other key financial metrics
- Provide guidance to Country FP&A on forecasting and reporting matters
- Develop and improve reporting and analysis to enhance visibility to business performance
Others
- Involve in Sales Incentive calculation and discussion
- Participate in special projects and ad hoc requests that support the strategic initiatives of the organization
Talent Development
- Lead a team of 3 members
- Mentor and coach employees to build a high-performing team
Requirements/Qualifications
- Business or Finance related degree
- More than 15 years of Financial Planning and Analysis experience in a multinational corporate
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to influence partners from multiple departments, and to communicate with sales
- Experience working in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment and demonstrate strong organizational problem-solving skills
- Ability to correlate results from data analysis to sales processes to provide insights and support business decisions
- Strong self-direction and initiative; willingness and ability to take complete ownership of responsibilities
