Senior Business Systems Analyst responsible for capturing functional requirements for agent-facing servicing applications, defining APIs and core banking integrations, translating needs into user stories and acceptance criteria, improving agent workflows, supporting testing and releases, and collaborating with data/tech teams to identify AI/ML opportunities for fraud detection, automation, and analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Perform business analysis for payment processing platforms (ACH, Wire, Zelle/RTP, Card)
- Work with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology teams to gather and document requirements
- Leverage domain expertise in Payments (ACH, Wire, Zelle/RTP, Card) to design and enhance banking solutions
- Translate business needs into user stories, epics, functional specs, and acceptance criteria
- Analyze existing payment workflows, identify gaps, and recommend process/system improvements
- Support regulatory and compliance requirements tied to payment processing
- Develop reports and dashboards supporting payment operations and compliance reporting
- Design and enhance data pipelines to support payment reporting needs
- Collaborate with engineering and data teams to resolve data quality issues and defects
- Support Agile delivery: backlog grooming, sprint planning, requirement clarification, UAT
Requirements:
- Strong background in business analysis within banking/payments
- Domain knowledge of payment rails (ACH, Wire, Zelle/RTP, Card) preferred
- Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications
- Familiarity with Agile delivery practices

Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
