Job Description

Band/Role     : Individual Contributor (Senior IC) or Supervisor (Lead Analyst)

Designation   : Sr Analyst

Reports to      : Lead Analyst / First Line Supervisor (AM)

Location         : TBD

Duration         : Full Time

The individual Contributor role brings over 3-7 years of experience in the field of market research - primarily data processing. Need to have experience in all aspects of data processing, including SPSS, quanvert data validation etc.

S/He will have responsibility to manage minimum 8-10 projects with zero to limited supervision, ensuring each project is set-up efficiently, liaising with client and internal teams. Tackling issues as they arise (or bringing them to the attention of the appropriate person), ensuring established processes are followed during the project and that required documentation is kept up to date.

Has knowledge, experience in managing studies, should be expert on programmatic platform quantum and\or dimensions and should have ability to manage projects of various types - tracking (continuous and wave), copy-testing, concept-testing, segmentation and/or different types of brands and market sectors

Should be self-learner and thinks logically which will help to speed in project execution and help achieve desired performance levels (expected out of them)

Projects: 

  • Manage projects within timelines
  • Should be productive i.e. Efficient programming and should deliver all studies with FTR approach
  • Plan prepare project schedule and timelines for both external and internal teams
  • Anticipating issues and acting proactively to address potential issues
  • Work with the clients to resolve specific issues they feel need to be addressed
  • Follow good hygiene and prepare project documentation
  • Should have good knowledge of weighting, data merging, coding, SPSS etc.
  • Should be able to program the survey with any of the input data
  • Should be able to understand questionnaire logic, project reequipments
  • Should have understanding of different market research methodologies e.g. max-diff, segmentation etc. 

Other Responsibilities

  • Execute the project as per the plan.
  • Attend training on regular intervals to speed on execution, adhering to standards, processes, procedures involved during execution
  • Reconcile and manage all aspects of programmatic platform updates etc
  • Support the internal team in preparing invoices of completed projects in a timely manner

Desired Experience, Skills, and Competency

  • Minimum of 3-7 years relevant Market Research experience
  • 5-6 years project management or Data processing experience
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree required. Post Graduate or B School degree in Operations, Market Research field from well-known management institution or a  board are preferred
  • Experience with many different types of Research studies:  tracking (continuous and wave), copy-testing, concept-testing, segmentation and/or different types of brands and market sectors.
  • Client centric mindset, and consulting skills, emotional intelligence, collaborative, consensus builder, good conflict management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in survey methods employed on managed studies
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in an independent, self-directed manner as well as part of a team effort
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Should be comfortable to work in night shifts – rotational, 24/7 operational support and working on weekends - Roaster
  • Exhibit a sense of ownership that can be felt throughout the team
  • Must have the ability to work in a high stress, high productivity, and rapidly changing environment.

  • PC proficiency using the Internet, Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SPSS
