The Senior Analyst Reporting is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and presenting data to various stakeholders in the organization. This role is critical in designing and delivering insights that influence decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and drive business growth. They will collaborate with internal/external report developers to ensure that business objectives and requirements for dashboards and reports are met.
Core Responsibilities:
- Understand business requirements and translate them into reporting requirements.
- Actively participate in all assigned reporting projects by designing and building reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with data analysts, data engineers, AI/ML engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Design and build dashboards and reports based on requirements.
- Monitor workspaces, licenses, usage, and capacity thresholds, and optimize as needed.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies for reporting and analytics.
- Contribute to Ingredion internal groups and forums.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree related field.
- Hands on experience in Business Intelligence/Reporting tools such as Power BI, SAP BW, Business Objects, Tableau, etc.
- Experience with databases like Oracle, SQL Server, etc. and Big Data/Cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure, Google Big Query, Databricks, AWS, Cloudera, etc.
- Expert level of proficiency in building SQL queries.
- Experience with using analytic services on curated or semantic layer over unstructured, semi-structured, and structured data.
- Experience with Business Intelligence/ Reporting tools such as Power BI
- Proficient with Microsoft office suite tools (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to successfully execute projects.
- Ability to multitask and meet aggressive deadlines efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, experience working in collaborative environment.
- Ability to apply analytical and creative thought process.
- Proven success in contributing to a multi-location team-oriented environment.
- Certification in any Reporting technology preferably in Power BI as well as any cloud-based technology.
