The successful Information Security Analyst will have a technical background and be able to work collaboratively and pragmatically with varied stakeholders. This position is integral to supporting the Information Security and wider security team combined with other areas of IT and experience working in cloud environments/transformations is essential, This role will provide fantastic opportunities to work across multiple security disciplines, with huge potential for individual growth and development.

What You'll Bring:

Role Responsibilities:

• Support key stakeholders with security related queries or issues.
• Vulnerability identification and remediation
• Involvement in the evaluation, effectiveness and coverage of security products and tooling to continuously monitor and protect company assets.
• Assessing security risks
• Support awareness activities to ensure continuous improvements to the security culture for the organisation.
• Support ISO27001, PCI DSS and other internal and external audit programmes
• Support the continuous improvement of security policies and standards.

Key Tasks:

• Working with project and product teams to provide support and guidance and to ensure compliance with security policy and standards.
• Coordinates vulnerability management activities and remediation work with IT teams.
• Perform security assessments with recommendations to mitigate and reduce risk.
• Working with technology and security teams, the role will drive initiatives such as vulnerability assessment and penetration testing workstreams.
• Support the improvement of technical processes to create efficient and secure methodologies.
• Help to embed a strong security culture within the organisation.
• Support the management and investigation of security events including post incident reviews in conjunction with other security teams.

• Key Skills & Qualifications:
• Educational or technical background in an Information Security discipline or relevant experience.
• Knowledge of cloud security, Google Cloud desirable
• Knowledge of vulnerability management.
• Understanding of technical security risks and threats.
• Is passionate for Cyber or Information Security
• Willingness to learn and undertake training should it be required.
• Ability to grasp high-level technical concepts.
• Ability to drive own workload identifying risks and requirements working flexibly where required.
