What You'll Bring:
As a Senior Analyst at TransUnion, you will apply advanced data analytics and statistical techniques to generate meaningful insights into client business environments, with a strong focus on credit portfolio performance. You will advise clients on optimizing processes and improving strategic decision-making, while designing, analyzing, and interpreting data pipelines and reporting frameworks.
The role also includes researching emerging statistical methods, exploring new analytical tools, and sharing best practices with internal teams. By integrating data analysis with statistical modeling, you will deliver actionable, data-driven recommendations that enhance client outcomes.
Key ResponsibilitiesData Analysis & Interpretation- Analyze internal and client datasets to understand business processes, policies, and performance indicators.
- Construct, interpret, and maintain business intelligence monitoring reports.
- Identify trends, patterns, and insights from monitoring results and derive logical conclusions.
- Conduct data interrogation, transformation, auditing, validation, and manipulation across various formats.
- Provide ongoing support to clients and sales teams by addressing issues, identifying opportunities, and recommending process enhancements.
- Present analytical outputs, findings, and strategic recommendations clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.
- Import and process raw data from multiple file formats into analytical environments, including R.
- Use tools such as R, SQL, Tableau, SAS, and Advanced Excel for data analysis, visualization, and report generation.
- Develop tables, graphs, dashboards, and business intelligence assets to support client decision-making.
- Perform data mining, warehousing activities, and explore new analytical methodologies to enhance analytical capabilities.
- 2–4 years of experience in data handling, analysis, or modeling—preferably within the credit risk or financial services domain.
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Business Mathematics, Informatics, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong proficiency in R, SQL, Tableau, and Advanced Excel for statistical analysis and reporting.
- Experience in dashboard creation and business intelligence tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights effectively.
