SQL Developer in SSIS and SSRS

ISS STOXX is actively hiring a SQL Developer in SSIS and SSRS for Mumbai (Goregaon East) location.

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced SQL Developer with expertise in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing database solutions, creating and maintaining ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and designing robust reporting systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop SQL Server database solutions, including tables, stored procedures, and functions

• Build and optimize complex ETL processes using SSIS to transform and load data from various sources

• Create and maintain SSRS reports to provide valuable insights and business intelligence

• Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and other best practices

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions

• Automate deployments using tools like Octopus Deploy and leverage Azure cloud services

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members

• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in data engineering

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a SQL Developer or Data Engineer

• Proven expertise in SQL Server development, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and functions

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing SSIS and SSRS solutions

• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts

• Proficiency in Azure cloud services and experience with Octopus Deploy

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

• Passion for staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies

Good to have:

• Experience with Azure Data Factory or other cloud-based ETL tools

• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

• Proven expertise in MongoDB development.

• Understanding of agile software development methodologies

• Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git, TFS)

• Exposure to Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
