Overview
As a member of the Asia Pacific Consumer Debit under the Product & Innovation family, you will be supporting the Consumer Products & Processing team, by driving initiatives to defend and grow our core business through suite of offerings - including Essential Debit, Essential for Wallets and Wallet Express Economics Program across the Asia Pacific Region.
Role Summary
The Product manager will manage the go-to-market strategy for priority products including Mastercard Essential Debit, Essential for Wallets and Wallet Express Economics Program across Asia Pacific, focusing on key areas such as product strategy, pricing, execution, and scalability. In this role, you will act as the main point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless product management and successfully driving GTM activities.
Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for your product, to drive market penetration and scale• Analyze market trends and the competitive landscape to inform and support go-to-market strategies• Cross functional collaboration with the regional pricing team, market product team, finance and business development team• Engage regional and in-market stakeholders to identify market opportunities, drive operational efficiencies, and address pain points through structured stakeholder feedback• Serve as a product subject matter expert, crafting compelling, data-driven narratives and clearly articulating the value proposition of the product offering• Collaborate with Global Products to ensure product readiness and related activities which are key for product enablement in the region• Provide regular leadership updates by tracking opportunities, reporting progress, and highlighting required support or resources to achieve objectives• Analyze market specific product performance metrics through data analytics and make recommendations for driving product strategy• Identify and prioritize portfolio optimization opportunities, management of pipeline and progress

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with a strategic and solution-oriented mindset• Proven experience in product management or program management• Good understanding of payments industry and ecosystem including issuing, digital wallets and Alternative payment methods (APMs)• Demonstrable understanding of financial concepts including product pricing and business case development• Be comfortable with technical concepts, able to articulate the product details with customers and internal teams• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills across diverse markets and cultures• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and deliver growth• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to pay attention to details• Proven ability to manage and oversee multiple projects and initiatives concurrently, maintaining momentum and delivery discipline
