Specialist - Product Expert

Role purpose As a Specialist Product Expert, you will leverage your air cargo industry and software solutions expertise to help shape the future of the product. You will engage with customers on critical business priorities & trends that enhance product's capabilities, increase product value proposition and improve competitive advantage while delivering business value for customers to meet current and future business needs. Duties and Responsibilities: o Engage with key airline and cargo industry stakeholders to identify changing business priorities and trends that will drive product's capabilities, increase product value proposition and improve competitive advantage. o Work with internal product, data and engineering teams to define and document the business requirements and concepts that align with the industry and organisation's vision. o Support the product features delivery and lead the rollouts at various customers, acting as the subject matter expert on cargo commercial & operational solutions and its business processes. o Support the product’s industry and customer engagements in presales, end-to-end demos and otherwise as required to further the cause of the product. o You will be a nodal point of contact for internal teams acting as the SME for air cargo commercial and operations functions leading new / enhanced solutions in these areas. o Support internal teams in analysing and finding solutions for critical issues contributing to SWOT teams Knowledge, Experience & Skills: o Broad expertise and hands-on experience in air cargo offer, order and operations disciplines either within an airline or within an air cargo solutions provider. o Expert abilities in functional documentation and in working with UX teams for product design. Exposure to API based design and documentation, is preferred. o Sound understanding of IT technology concepts, software architectures and product management principles. o Hands-on experience as product expert or product owner or business analyst in IT solution provider organization. o Prior hands-on experience of at least 5 to 8 years in air cargo o Bachelor’s degree in aviation or IT or relevant disciplines. o Experience working in a SAFe agile environment
