Summary of Role:
As a Specialist , Accounts Payables, you will be responsible for the financial & administrative support of a company. You’ll oversee making payments owed by the company to suppliers and other creditors, paying vendor invoices or bills, and recording the company's short-term debts.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Keeping track of all payments including purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks; responding to vendor enquiries regarding finance.
Quality accounting entry of source documents on time.
Maintain vendor relations.
Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to vendors in a timely manner.
Keep track of credits owed to the company and ensure all credits are properly applied to vendor payments.
Manage the interface of data from TMS systems such as CargoWise and P-Net into Oracle.
Technical / Functional Skills:
Knowledge of MS office like Excel, Word, Power Point etc. will be an added advantage.
Prior exposure to management of large (high volume) AP accounts within a portfolio and improving/sustaining such an account for an extended period.
Shift Timings:
4:00 PM – 1:00 AM (Should be flexible during Month End Week)
