We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team at South Star.
Roles and Responsibilities

Own and lead support of the software applications that are assigned to you.

Troubleshoot and debug reported issues from production systems.

Utilize your engineering experience to help patch fix, update configurations, recommend solutions, and contribute to the evolution of each software application you support.

Update and enhance existing product documentation for each software application you support.

Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure first class support and meet demanding service-level agreements.

Proactively take steps to monitor and improve each software application you support.

Create periodic status reports regarding the health and stability of each software application you support.

Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and programming languages that are required to support each software application assigned to you.
Desired Candidate Profile
The position has the following requirements: BS, MS in Computer Science, Applied Math or related Engineering fields.

3-5 years of combined relevant work experience as highlighted below.

Hands-on experience working with Python as Full Stack

Hands-on experience working with SQL Server.

Willing to learn C# / .NET environment

Ability to provide in-depth evaluation and analysis of complex technology issues.

Analytical and problem-solving skills, organization, and time management skills.

Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
