Job Title: Software Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Business & Team: CST

Impact & contribution:

Reduce the deployment time of model by utilising advance tools and technology. In this role you’ll assist execution of strategic initiatives to improve team effectiveness and performance.

Reporting lines: Reports to Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable .NET applications.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse requirements.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.

  • Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure software quality.

  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.

  • Work with database technologies such as SQL Server to design and optimize database schemas.

  • Implement and integrate third-party APIs and services.

  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process and methodologies.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.

  • Working experience with the DevOps Hosting Platform (DHP) is a plus.

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools.

  • Job Scheduling and Monitoring tools eg Splunk, Autosys etc – Understanding job scheduling and dependencies

  • Proven experience as a .NET Engineer or similar role.

  • Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core.

  • Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React is a plus.

  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.

  • Solid understanding of Containers on ECS Fargate, Lambda, EC2 

  • Experience with RESTful API design and development.

  • Proficiency in working with SQL Server, PostgreSQL or other relational databases.

  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Education Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
