What is the opportunity?

We are looking for a skilled Oracle  Application Developer with over 8 years of hands-on experience in Oracle CPQ Cloud development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying Oracle CPQ solutions that support end‑to‑end quote‑to‑cash processes. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and high‑quality CPQ functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and configure Oracle CPQ components, including Configurations, Commerce Processes, Pricing Rules, BML scripts, UI design, and Approval Workflows.

  • Build and enhance CPQ capabilities, including product configuration rules, pricing logic, BOM mapping, attribute management, and guided selling.

  • Create custom BML scripts, document engine logic, and handle complex transformation rules.

  • Develop integrations between CPQ and external systems (CRM, ERP, Billing, eCommerce) through REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.

  • Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable CPQ solutions.

  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to CPQ architectural decisions.

  • Ensure technical solutions follow best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization guidelines.

  • Work closely with Quoting Operations and cross‑functional teams to understand and validate requirements.

  • Convert requirements into technical designs, solution specs, and functional configurations.

  • Provide effort estimation, impact analysis, and feasibility assessments.

  • Develop unit test plans, perform code reviews, and support functional and UAT cycles.

  • Troubleshoot configuration or integration issues and resolve defects efficiently.

  • Support release management, production deployments, and post‑deployment verification.

  • Support version upgrades, patching activities, and new CPQ feature adoption.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design docs, data flows, BML logic, and configuration reference guides.

  • Ensure compliance with SOX, audit, and organizational development standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands‑on experience with Oracle CPQ (BigMachines) development.

  • Strong knowledge of BML, BMQL, Configuration Rules, Commerce Flows, Pricing Rules, and Document Designer.

  • Experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools (OIC, MuleSoft, etc.).

  • Solid understanding of Quote‑to‑Cash (Q2C) processes, sales operations, product modeling, and pricing structures.

  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
