The Software Development Manager will oversee daily operations of the software development team, drive project execution, mentor developers, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions while aligning strategies with business goals.
We are looking for an experienced Software Development Manager to lead and manage our software development team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily Scrum operations, driving project execution, mentoring developers, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with senior management to align development strategies with business goals while fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the software development team, ensuring smooth daily scrum ceremonies.
- Oversee recruitment, mentoring, and performance evaluation of team members.
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring timely and high-quality deliveries.
- Act as a liaison between the development team and upper management, translating technical insights into business value.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
- Participate in code reviews and quality assurance processes to maintain software excellence.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define and implement best practices in software development.
Is This Opportunity Right for You?
We are looking for candidates who have:
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong technical expertise in Scrum Management, software development methodologies, SDLC, and Agile frameworks.
- Hands-on experience in project management, resource planning, and team leadership.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (Java, Python, .NET, etc.) would be an added advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred:
- Experience with CI/CD, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps practices, and scalable software architectures.
