Designs, creates and tests new products, systems and services. Engages cross-functionally with other technical / engineering teams to define product requirements, determine mechanical, physical and software design direction, develop concepts, drive production processes, test prototypes and make real time adjustments to improve performance and functionality.
Responsibilities- Understand the product functional and technical aspects
- Ensures timely delivery and excellent quality of the deliverables for the product
- End to end story/task development, implementation and test automation
- Debugging and troubleshooting product functional and technical issues
- Participate in the construction and integration of software components into the product, in a co-development mode
- Adhere to standards and use best practices in software development and ensure adherence to agreed development standards
- Escalate and resolve timely, the technical and functional related issues to the next level
- Be part of teams in design and development of new features and enhancements
- 2 to 5 years of hands on experience on Java, J2EE, Spring, Web Services (REST JSON, SOAP)
- Fulltime Bachelor and/or Master degree in Engineering with a minimum of 60% grade
- Worked on building payment applications, online transaction processing and transaction switching, Payment Gateways
- Experienced with Network Schemes certification like Visa, Mastercard, Amex
- Experience with Junit, system integration framework and JMeter/SOAPUI
- The ability to work in teams, global environment, partner effectively with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple deliverables concurrently
- Demonstrated ability and experience in the entire product development cycle: from design, implementation, test and debugging, to deployment and maintenance
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in delivering scalable and high performance services and applications with excellent quality
- Deep experience in Micro-services design and implementation
- Deep experience in developing platform/server side components/APIs
- Understand very well card products like Credit/Debit/Prapaid and EMV & Tokenization
- Worked with Visa/Mastercard Scheme simulators (MDS/VTS/Paragon/FinSim/T3)
- Exposure on Payment acquiring and issuing for ATM/POS/EFT/e-commerce
- Experience in using Gradle/Maven build framework
- Worked with application server (JBOSS/ WebSphere/Liberty) on Linux/Unix/Windows platforms
- Experience working with databases (i.e. Oracle/Postgres SQL/DB2)
- Familiar on using Code Coverage and Static analysis tools (i.e. SonarQube/Jacoco)
- Understanding of security protocols, encryption/decryption technologies, HSM, certificates (Nice to have)
- Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes and exposure to cloud Azure/AWS (Nice to have)
